Dear Coaches, Parents, and Young Athletes,
As most of you know, we were thrilled to share the fantastic news with you all of the return of our U9 tier 1 program in district 2. We are now announcing the rebranded team name as the Creighton Nines!
The new name, “Creighton Nines,” reflects a significant landmark in our community and honours our association’s rich heritage. It symbolizes our commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the sport from an early age. By naming our U9 tier 1 team after this notable landmark, we celebrate both our past and our future.
This season, the Creighton Nines will be competing within an elite framework that includes all Tier 1 U9 teams across the City of Greater Sudbury - from both districts 2 and 8. This means our young players will have the opportunity to face some of the best teams in the area, offering them a challenging and enriching experience. We believe this competitive environment will greatly contribute to their development, helping them enhance their skills while deepening their love for the sport.
Our U9 program is designed to provide a structured, engaging environment where children can learn the fundamentals of the game, develop their teamwork abilities, and most importantly, have fun. We are committed to ensuring every child who joins us will have a positive experience with the guidance of dedicated coaches who are enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring.
We are pleased to announce the head coach of our tier 1 team Adam Fudge! Adam has been coaching with WMHA for 3 years, has over 10 years of experience as an NOHA official and is just as excited to get the season started as we are.

You can register here. All players born in 2016 and 2017 are welcome to attend. Each skate is $20 cash per player at the door.
