Updated concussion protocol
In June 2019, Hockey Canada revised its Concussion Policy and Protocol. As a minor hockey association, the WMHA adheres to Hockey Canada policies. It is recommended that all team trainers, managers, coaches and hockey parents review the updated protocol, Concussion Recognition Tool (CRT 5) and required documentation. All of this information can be found on our website under Policies and Forms/Injury Prevention and Management. Concussion safety is everyone’s responsibility!
