HEALTH CHECKS in team snap are MANDATORY!
In response to the evolving situation of the COVID-19 VOCs (Variant of Concern), the Government of Ontario has adopted a more rigorous and cautious approach to implementing public health measures. This includes the new Active Screening Requirement as well as updated isolation requirements for household members. If a your participant/player or any member of your household have any COVID-19 symptoms, no one from your household can attend any extra-curricular activities in city areas. Stay home until the person with symptoms gets a negative COVID-19 result, or is cleared by public health, or is diagnosed with another illness. Additionally, if your participants/player has been identified as close contact of a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case, or is part of a school or workplace closure, the participant/player, as well as their entire household (siblings, parents, etc), CANNOT attend any extra-curricular activities in arenas until their 14 day isolation period has ended and/or they receive a NEGATIVE COVID test result and are symptom free. As an example of the above guideline – participants, players, siblings, parents, or other people living in the same household as students or teachers who attend Lasalle or Cyril Varney are not to attend arenas up to and including March 4th 2021 or longer as determined by public health. Thank you, WMHA Executive |
